I like every season in Italy, but spring is truly special.  The explosion of greenery becomes a background for all the blooms (like these peonies) as they pop out with great joy.  We were inspired to get up earlier in the spring just to have more time to take it all in.  These sweet little chairs, already showing signs of wear, eventually just had to be retired……like us!!!
