Ready for the Beach              Naxos, Greece                         May 22, 2014

Today is May 22, 2026….Memorial Day Weekend in the USA.  The usual moment in the year when we get ready for summer and wonderful beach days.  Alas, this Memorial Day is rainy and cool.   Perhaps pondering the posture of this little guy who is staking his claim for a beach trip will give us enough of a nostalgic moment to keep us smiling as we wait for the real summer to appear this year.    This lucky little guy, by the way, lives at a sweet little hotel in Naxos, Greece…….and when he finds a kindred spirit enjoying a Greek summer day, he is not shy about moving right in!!!
